Dalam hal daerah-kedaerahan, saya rasa semangat yang dimiliki warga Indonesia sangat lah tinggi. Semangat kedaerahan ini sebenarnya terasa ironi untuk saya, karena yang terjadi di daerah terkadang sangat berkebalikan. Entah sih, antara risih atau justru merasa beruntung, terkadang berasal dari daerah yang sama bisa menyelamatkan kita di situasi yang sulit. Tidak bisa tidak memang, menjadi orang yang bisa dipaham.

Suatu Malam Di Selipan Percakapan Pendek Kita. Ada cerita yang terus berjalan dalam sebuah puisi yang bagus. Bahkah ketika aku merasa telah rampung menerjamahkan dan memaknainya, tetap saja dalam kondisi tertentu, sering kembali kutemukan kehidupan yang lain tiba-tiba bergerak dari sana. Beberapa puisi punya banyak jiwa yang bisa membuatku menangis satu waktu, dan tahu-tahu tersipu, marah, atau tertawa di kesempatan lain.
